I posted this on my instagram feed a while ago, but felt it deserved to be shown on my blog as well, as it is something I strongly believe in. First of all, I need to say that I love my job. I love what I do, and every single wedding I attend as a photographer is an absolute privilege. Also it is worth nothing I have photographed well over 100 weddings and exactly as you might think, no two have been alike. Being a wedding photographer excites me and fires up something inside me that I find hard to explain in words.
As a wedding photographer, I had definitely photographed my share of beautiful flowers, cakes, shoes, dresses and décor. I LOVE it. LOVE LOVE LOVE it. I could shoot it all day. It’s such an important part of helping to tell the story of the day.
But. They are not the wedding details.
The images you see below are examples of what I would consider the REAL wedding details. Laughter, tears, anticipation, celebration, man-with-cool-hair-dancing-laughing-and-pointing. You get the idea.
So, if you are looking for a wedding photographer and stumbled upon my work, please know that I will blow you away with photos of your cake. I will knock your socks off with images of your gorgeous vintage décor. I will have a blast shooting the boutonnieres, colorful socks, and table settings.
And I will also photograph the details of your wedding.
